21k School, India’s only online school, has launched its ‘Junior Ideathon’ series, a platform where young student entrepreneurs can present their ideas, within a 15-minute time frame to a panel of practically prominent entrepreneurs and businessmen. The ‘Junior Ideathon’ series is designed to help students develop their curiosity and creativity and therefore build a partnership to develop their entrepreneurial skills at a very young age.
Organized by 21K School, ‘Junior Ideathon’ is based on the popular ‘Shark Tank’ format where entrepreneurs present their ideas to a panel of investors or ‘sharks’ and persuade them to invest in their ideas. 21K School ‘Junior Ideathon’ saw 145 young students present their ideas to ‘sharks’ across 15 breakout rooms. Students scored based on their originality, presentation skills as well as in-depth knowledge of the content. Students have come up with highly innovative ideas like dog waste composting, a hydraulic ceiling fan, an allergy detector machine, a self-walking dog collar, a temperature-controlled smart jacket and much more!
The 21K school’s ‘JuniorIdathon’ series began in February 2022. 21K School will fund the top 5 students for start-up ideas and help them nurture a start-up product to expand the ideas presented by children.
