AICTE Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education celebrates National Start-up Day

Celebrating National Start-up Day with 75 innovative technologies including start-up possibilities has received funding and advice support from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

These innovations were part of an e-exhibition held during Innovation Week starting January 10th. In Innovation Week, more than 500 innovators and startups have demonstrated their work. Innovation Week has come to an end with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to mark the day as ‘National Start-up Day’.

Innovation and start-ups were selected from a number of programs, such as the National Innovation Competition, Smart India Hackathon and Toycathon, conducted by the Ministry of Education. These 75 innovations and start-ups have created a variety of technological solutions and services that will cover 16 different themes and sectors.
