Amity University has already undertaken many collaborative research activities with the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) and the signing of this MoU aims to further strengthen this partnership.
Amity has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE). The MoU establishes a memorandum of understanding between ICFRE and Amity University and Institutions (AU) to share knowledge on applied research activities, capacity building and forest, conservation of biodiversity, ecosystems, climate change vulnerabilities, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and forest-dependent livelihoods. Collaboration is done. The community and other issues are mutually agreed upon between the two organizations.
The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) is an autonomous body of the government on environment, forests and climate change. A top agency in India and the National Forestry Research System. It covers the various aspects of forestry and undertakes the overall development of forest research through research, education and extension needs-based planning, promotion, management and coordination.
