AM / NS India Enterprise Academy for Skill Development will conduct undergraduate degree courses and post-diploma courses in still technology.
The Academy for Skill Development, an initiative of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM / NS India), has signed a strategic MoU with Kaushalya – The Skill University, established by the Government of Gujarat to offer courses on steel technology.
In Gandhinagar, Laxman Iyer and HR Suthar (IAS), members of the Executive Committee of the Academy for Skill Development, signed the MoU in the presence of Registrar, Kaushalya – The Skill University, Anju Sharma (IAS), Principal Secretary, Department of Labor, Skills Development.
In collaboration with the University, the Academy for Skill Development will conduct undergraduate degree courses in steel technology and a two-year post-diploma in steel technology. The academy, which is primarily engaged in training, developing and enhancing the skills of diploma engineers, will train more than 60 young people each year.
The academy will provide all the theoretical and practical training facilities to the candidates, recruit internally experienced professionals as faculty to provide training, provide necessary resources for the functioning of the institute, arrange on-the-job training and support.
