Cambridge University Press and Assessment and Worth Institute of Higher Education and Research have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a world-class academic research and language development center for English, the first of its kind in the Asian subcontinent. The center will explore academic and research-publishing initiatives for BIHER and its constituent faculty members and students.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, both partners will work closely to publish high quality learning content and assessments and certification for students’ employability skills and English skills, teacher training, digital learning solutions for higher education institutions and schools. In addition, students and educators from both institutions will have the opportunity to explore the Cambridge English exam for teachers and students in engineering, healthcare and other disciplines. The test will be administered by Launchpad Learning Labs Pvt. Ltd., a partner of the Institute.

In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding has opened up opportunities for BIHER students to take admission tests, as well as exploring BIHER as a testing ground for admission tests at the University of Cambridge UK and other universities.

These tests open the door to higher education, improve employment opportunities and increase students’ choice of study or work. With a Cambridge English Certificate, students will be able to prove their English language skills to universities, employers and governments around the world.
