Clever Harvey empowers teens to discover, explore and kickstart their dream careers
In collaboration with IIT-Kharagpur e-Cell, Clever Harvey is hosting India’s largest Entrepreneur Competition for Adolescents – ‘Advantage 15 Challenge 2021’.
As part of this largest pitch competition, students in grades 8 through 12 chose a category of their choice and signed up for the 10-day challenge – Tech Innovator. During these 10 days, they had to identify a problem that needed to be solved, learn the basics of business and technology from industry experts and create a business or technology innovation plan under the advice of Ivy League alumni supported by IIT-Kharagpur e-Cell.
Out of the total participants, 24 teams will qualify for the final round which will be held at the Advantage 15 Summit, India’s first virtual career event for teenagers and parents on October 24, 2021. These teams will have the opportunity to present their business ideas in a ‘shark tank’ style to a jury of experts during the summit.
In the end, the four selected winners will receive a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh and unlock a certificate of achievement from IIT-Kharagpur e-cell.
Speaking on the initiative, Sriram Subramanian, Founder and CEO, Cliver Harvey, said, “We are delighted to be hosting India’s largest youth pitch competition to bring young students closer to their dream careers in 15 years. We aim to empower them to discover and explore their career interests, develop world-class industry-relevant skills, as well as reward them for their accomplishments. At the same time, the goal is to help parents and educators to guide adolescents towards career clarity while in school. In addition, the Advantage 15 Summit is a platform for students to unlock their hidden talents and win exciting prizes. “
In addition to the largest Teen Business Pitch competition, the one-day Virtual Summit will feature 15 live events and competitions for both parents and children. Scavenger Hunt, Dictionary is some exciting games for students where they can win big prizes like iPad, speakers, headphones and much more.
Plus, the Advantage 15 Summit will have a great lineup of speakers for one interesting session after another. Speakers will cover topics such as entry into the Ivy League, the future of the post-epidemic workplace, the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset for adolescents, and future workforce, and more.
On the final day, Indian stand-up comedians, writers and YouTubers, World Welfare Roth, will deliver keynote speeches as well as interact with students and parents. Other prominent speakers include Madhavi Desai (Career Counselor of India’s first counseling firm started in 1989), Tarak Goradia (Delhi Government education innovator, co-creator of Entrepreneur Mindset Curriculum, Adtech Startup Consultant, Cloud Data Analytics Consultant) -Former), Debopam Raha (Leader of Healthcare IT Public Health in India and Executive Director of KPMG, India), Lakh Jain (Teen Founder and CEO, Mavericks) Divya Balaji Kamerkar (CEO and Co-Founder), Pinky Promise) and many more.
