50+ countries hire new seniors to accelerate international expansion, as Cuemath aims to become global math leader
Qumeth, the global math tutoring platform, has announced the recruitment of several new seniors as it continues to restructure its leadership team. The new appointment is an important step as Cuemath embarks on its next growth phase.
The company has appointed Sameer Kulshreshtha as CFO, Nisha Popli as CHRO, Janardhan Singh as Chief of Sales and Anushree Gupta as Chief Product and Technology Officer. Samir and Nisha have already joined Cuemath since Janardhan and Anushree’s appointment took effect in January 2022. All new recruits will report to Vivek Sundar, who was newly appointed CEO in October.
More senior appointments are expected in the coming months as part of Qumeth’s growth plan.
Focusing on redesigning traditional teaching methods, these key leadership appointments are important for Cuemath’s international expansion, as it aims to double the number of students on its platform by 2022. Samir Kulshreshtha, CFO Md
Samir, a Chartered Accountant, has over 19 years of financial management experience in the eCommerce, Healthcare, Telecom and IT / ITES sectors. He has previously worked in Practo, Fortis Healthcare, Genpact and Indus Towers.
Janardhan Singh, Chief of Sales
Janardhan has over 20 years of business leadership experience and the ability to scale up in the ad-tech sector. His last assignment was as the founder and COO of ClassKlap.
Nisha Popley, CHRO
Nishar has over 19 years of experience managing human resource programs for leading businesses, including the Big Four Accountancy Firm and the world’s leading professional service organizations. Prior to Cuemath, he led HR for Moglix India, a B2B e-commerce start-up. He has also served as Head of People’s Office for Future Group India’s small format business, Global HR Head with Smart Cube and other HR roles with KPMG, Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young.
Anushree Gupta, Chief Product and Technology Officer.
Anushray is rejoining Cuemath as CTO, forming the company’s engineering and product team. He then moved to Udan as their grocery store vertical product lead where he was key in increasing market share.
