Even without a vaccine dose, teachers will not be allowed in schools by the Delhi government

School teachers and staff of the Delhi Education Department who have not received a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by October 15 will be barred from attending classes, according to an order.

Teachers and staff of schools under the Delhi Education Department who have not received a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by October 15 will not be allowed to go to school, according to an order. As per the order issued by the department on October 26, the officials will verify the status of the vaccine through the Arogya Bridge application or the vaccination certificate produced by the teachers and staff. It added that those who did not receive their vaccine dose by October 15 would be treated. Leave until the first dose of the vaccine is given.

Heads of government, government-aided and non-government-recognized schools in the Department of Education (DoE) were instructed to submit vaccination information to teachers and staff by October 20. They were instructed to submit information to a Google Tracker link. The department said that it provides covid vaccine status reports to teachers and staff. In an order issued last month, the DOE said that vaccinated teachers and non-teaching staff would not be allowed to go to school from October 15 and would be considered on leave.
