Great Place to Work: India has declared India’s Best Workplace 2021 for Women in India’s largest survey that assesses gender equality.
Great Place to Work: has been studying employees’ experiences and human practices across the organization for over three decades. Each year, more than 10,000 organizations from more than 60 countries partner with the Great Place to Work: Institute for evaluation, benchmarking, and action planning to strengthen their workplace culture. Great Place to Work: India has declared India the best workplace for women in 2021.
In India, research conducted by Great Place to Work has focused on confidence in the workplace, driving employees’ experience and its impact on business outcomes. The study reveals that there is a clear and direct relationship between employee engagement and financial performance and the best workplaces and consistently surpasses India’s major stock indices.
India’s best workplace for women ™ is the only study of gender equality in the workplace that adopts and considers an integrated approach i. Employee voice, ii. Employee representation across the level and iii. Inclusive practice to evaluate and reach the best workplace in the country. This year, for the 4th edition of India’s Best Workplace for Women, 712 companies from 23 different industries were evaluated for consideration in this list, representing the voices of more than 2.3 million employees.
The Great Place to Work in India has revealed some impressive insights through research into the Best Workplace for Women 2021. Interestingly, the representation of women in the best workplaces is 27 percent compared to the remaining 15 percent – and this exceeds the average economic participation of the country! Indeed, 68 percent of the best workplaces have more than the average representation of women in senior leadership positions, which stands at 13 percent in the country.
Through a Virtual Awards Ceremony held over the weekend, Great Place to Work: India and its partner, Outlook Business, recognized 150 companies as the best workplaces in India, honoring 100 companies with a workforce of over 2021 – 500 for women (including large corporate divisions). ), And a workforce of 50 to 100 to 500 (in the medium-sized company segment).
