London and New York: April 5, 2022 – Inspiring Workplace’s New Global Perspectives Report highlights the double threat to recovery from a poor job: the balance of life caused by epidemics and inadequate human interaction. In fact, 74% of respondents said they were struggling to maintain boundaries between home and work. And about nine out of ten respondents (88%) said they missed or needed social or human interactions with colleagues or clients.

Title of the report: I. I miss you! A new wellness crisis on the horizon, Published almost two years ago when most parts of the world were first locked down. The report draws on its responses from the global community of inspirational workplaces. It has insights that will help workers have a voice and a roadmap for areas to consider as we continue our journey through the changes caused by the earthquake caused by the epidemic. The most encouraging response to the report shows that 98% of the motivational workplace community thinks they can be the real people in the workplace – increasing the emotional security within their organization.

Five themes to create an inspirational place to work
Respondents were also asked “What can your employer do to help you this year?

We’ve integrated verbal responses into the following five key themes:

  1. Culture of wellness
  2. Community
  3. Structure
  4. Employee Voice
  5. Gratitude

In the report we provide advice and feedback on the context of each of these themes and how to approach them in 2022 and beyond.

Personal inspiration comes back through the Inspire Work Summit in London and New York City in partnership with The STM Group
After a two-year hiatus due to the epidemic, the Inspire Work Summit, (formerly the Employees Engagement Awards Conference) returns to London, New York and Sydney.

STM Group, a professional services marketing company, has agreed to be a headline partner in both London and New York.

Michael Gage, STM Group, says: “Working with a wide range of clients, as we do, gives us an interesting window into the world of work. We know that post-epidemic-inspired individuals are going to be one of the most important leadership challenges in the years to come. So, we are happy to be the sponsor of this conference. Matt and his team deserve a lot of credit for continuing to shed light on this most important conversation.

Matt Manners says: “We’ve always tried to combine the most inspiring and insightful content into our events, whether it’s case studies, thought leaders or best-selling authors. We now have an inspirational title partner on both sides of the Atlantic.

“Our goal is to transform the world by transforming the workplace and it starts with community and collaboration – so after three years away from personal events we are deliberately lowering our prices to do so.”
