If teachers and staff of Delhi government schools are not vaccinated, the missing will be treated

According to the Department of Education (DoE), vaccinated teachers and non-teaching staff in government schools in Delhi will be barred from attending classes and declared absent from October 15.

The Department of Education (DoE) on Wednesday said that vaccinated teachers and non-teaching staff in government schools in Delhi would not be allowed to go to school from October 15 and would be considered on leave.

“We are all aware that the country is under threat from COVID-19 epidemic. All effective measures need to be taken to prevent its spread. Schools under DoE have been reopened in phases. Is protected through enforcement, “DoE Director Udit Raj said in an official order.

The DOE has instructed all district education officers and school principals to ensure that all teachers and school staff are vaccinated by October 15. “Teachers and school staff who have not vaccinated themselves by October 15 should not be allowed to attend. Schools and their absence will be considered a holiday,” he added.

The DOE had earlier directed all government schools to expedite vaccination of their teachers and non-teaching staff.
