IIIT Delhi has launched Certificate Program in Computer Science for the faculty

Faculty will not have to take any time off as there will be online syllabus for regular semesters.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) has successfully launched Certificate Program in Computer Science for Professors. It was a virtual event considering the ongoing Covid-19 protocol. The Certificate Program is designed for computer science teachers with an engineering (B.Tech/BE) and non-engineering (B.Sc./BCA/MCA) background. The goal was to improve the teaching ability of teachers in various branches of computer science.

Universities and colleges are encouraged to sponsor their faculties for this program. Since the program covers all core CS subjects, a college can quickly improve its CS education by sponsoring their faculty for a variety of subjects for this program. ACM India will provide partial support in registration fee for all faculties. More details about the application process and scholarship will be posted on the CSEDU website soon, said Professor Pankaj Jalot, Chairman of the Certificate Program Steering Committee.
