MoU for research institutes on health supplements, nutraceuticals, botanicals and herbal supplements
Amway India, FMCG Direct Selling Company, has partnered with Premier Institute IIT Bombay to expedite research in the field of nutraceuticals, botanicals and herbal supplements. As part of this Memorandum of Understanding, a team of in-house Amway researchers in collaboration with IIT Bombay will pioneer innovative methods and strategies in health supplements, nutritional, botanical and herbal supplements to gain in-depth insights into Amway nutrition. And herbal range of products and ingredients.
The partnership will facilitate sophisticated systems biology and modeling approaches for an in-depth understanding of human physiology and the interactions between different nutrients and botanicals.
According to a recent global survey conducted by Amway, an entrepreneur-led health and wellness organization, and The Logit Group, there has been a positive change in consumer behavior, with 83 percent of Indian respondents receiving regular health and wellness supplements.
