Website to enable students to learn and interact live with IIT professors to better prepare for competitive exams
IIT-PAL (IIT-Professor Assisted Learning), an initiative of the Ministry of Education to provide free video lectures to 11th and 12th class students, to better and self-study students in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) JEE, NEET, To help you excel in competitive exams like IAT and others.
To further this endeavor, IIT Delhi, the co-ordinating body of IIT-PAL, has now launched an interactive IIT-PAL website, which will serve as a single platform where students across India can access video lectures broadcast on the Ministry of Education’s Swayam Prabha channel. Stay with IIT professors and ask them questions.
The newly launched website lists video lectures according to the NCERT syllabus of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 11th and 12th classes, so that interested students can gradually learn the subjects of each subject given in the syllabus.
Most importantly, the website has the following useful features, which are managed by a team of professors from different IITs across the country:
- Registered students can submit their subject doubts / questions / problems in English or Hindi. A team of professors / experts from IIT-PAL will coordinate to find the answer to this question. The answers to the selected questions will be posted on the website, which will be visible to all registered students.
- Registered students may also request for direct interaction on specific topics in English or Hindi. If sufficient requests for specific topics are received, a schedule for this live interaction session will be announced on the website. According to the schedule, students can interact directly with the teacher through an online video platform.
IIT PAL video lectures that are aired on Swayam Prabha Channel can be accessed on Doordarshan’s DTH Channel 22 and online.
