JK Lakshmipot University collaborates with Birmingham University for expertise

JK will provide global exposure for students through a joint exchange program between Lakshmipat University, Jaipur and the University of Birmingham

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur has entered into an agreement with the University of Birmingham (UOB) to offer its students innovative and advanced courses to prepare them for the future for their innovative industry. The move will enable the university to have global exposure and give students the opportunity to enhance their skills with a variety of courses. UOB is known for its new age art-first curriculum. They emphasize research in the field of engineering. The association will support JKLU in bringing innovative learning methods for engineering students in India.

The university has sought cooperation for programs such as BEng and MEng Civil Engineering, BEng and MEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering BEng and MEng Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering. Both universities have considered two formats for enrolling students in the program, the 2 + 2 system and the semester exchange.

Under the 2 + 2 system, students will have the opportunity to go abroad and study at UOB for the last two semesters, the second format semester exchange will allow JKLU students to study at UoB for one semester.

The focus of the University of Birmingham is to enhance students’ skills and abilities in various vertical fields of engineering. The purpose is to encourage students who have multi-disciplinary skills and to motivate them to upgrade themselves while receiving additional support from the Global Peer Learning Group. This collaboration will not only prepare them for the future and open an array of career paths for them but also ensure that they receive the quality lessons they need to succeed in the growing professional world.
