The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) will promote 11th class students without examination in both summer and winter regions of Jammu division. The Higher Secondary Class 11 examinations for the 2020-21 academic year will begin today, September 23, in the Kashmir Division / Winter Zone districts of Jammu Division.
Students will be promoted to Class 12 based on last year’s results, which will be announced during Covid-19. According to a statement from JKBOSE, it was decided to promote 11th class students for 2020-21 academic year due to lack of time to conduct next annual (regular) examinations in Kashmir division / winter zone districts of Jammu division.
Promoted candidates will be allowed to sit for the upcoming Class 12 regular examinations in the 2021 Kashmir Division / Jammu Division Winter Zone region, if they are temporarily admitted to school and at present have a minimum of 66 percent (online / offline) attendance. Academic Session 2020-21.
Candidates who have applied for subject change, additional subject or other section will be declared pass in class 11 in the appropriate subject as a one-time measure. However, students must pass the main examination in all compulsory courses.
“The promotion of the candidates will be subject to the condition that at any time in the future for any reason. It was found that the candidate was not eligible to appear in the 2020-21 session, JKBOSE will reserve the right to cancel his / her / their promotion without any prior notice, ”said JKBOSE.
