Karnataka Chief Minister has inaugurated two new schools at RV University

Two new schools have been launched – the School of Computer Science and Engineering and the School of Business which will start courses from 2022.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomai inaugurated the RVU (RVU). He has also launched the School of Computer Science and Engineering and the School of Business which will start courses from 2022. Karnataka Higher Education Minister CN Ashwath Narayan and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion. The Chief Minister and the Minister of Higher Education distributed Covid Scholarships and Merit Scholarships established by the University among the students.

The newly launched School of Computer Science and Engineering has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering. Tech (Hons) and will offer a B.Sc. (Hons) with specialization in Data Science, Decision Science and Computer Science. The new School of Business will offer a BBA (Hons) with specializations in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics and Human Resource Management. It will offer a B.Com (Hons) specialization in Banking and Finance, Risk Management and Audit. In addition, RVU School of Business will launch an Executive MBA program for working professionals in 2022.

In his inaugural address, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomai said, “Democracy is not limited to elected representatives; It extends itself to the citizens of the country. At present, the need for active participatory democracy has increased instead of structural democracy. This can only be achieved by students who are on the path to the future. “

Honorable Guest of the occasion, Karnataka Education Minister CN Ashwath Narayan said, “The present world depends on quality education for progress, especially as every sector of IT is enabled. The digital economy is growing, and our government has completely digitized the way we operate in this sector. We have introduced changes that will make Karnataka one of the most sought after destinations for education and opportunities. ”

The Pro-Chancellor, RVU, AVS Murthy joined the Chancellor to receive the Chief Guest and the distinguished guests. To facilitate the distribution of scholarship certificates to meritorious students by DP Nagraj, Pro-Vice Chancellor, RV University and Joint Secretary, Chief Minister of State Education Association Trust (RSSST) and Minister of Higher Education.
