Kerala Blockchain Academy, under the state-run Digital University Kerala, is offering two free basic programs in blockchain technology. Registration is open for the November batch of the Blockchain Foundation Program and the Etherium Fundamental Program, which are online, free, and valid for one month.
The online course involves the interaction of two instructors. Both courses are open to the public from any educational background, including students, graduates and professionals. There is no difference in the discipline of the study, a statement said here. The Blockchain Foundation program provides insights into the basics of blockchain, key concepts, capabilities, limitations, and the future of blockchain technology.
Participants were presented with a digital blockchain-driven certificate signed by KBA by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategy Council (K-DISC), it said. The free basic program on Ethereum Blockchain provides step-by-step instructions for creating applications in the Ethereum Blockchain domain.
Those who pass with merit are given a 50 per cent discount on their advanced education in the relevant subject. To avail the discount, they must apply within 15 days of receipt of the certificate and the last date of application is October 30, added to the statement.
