LawSikho has partnered with a Kerala government-run Extra Skills Program (ASAP) Kerala to launch three legal courses for Kerala students in February. Designed for undergraduate or graduate students in law and working professionals who have completed a bachelor’s degree in law, the courses are mixed with internship and placement assistance.
The programs that are being introduced are Diploma in Advanced Contract Drafting, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution; Diploma in Cyber Law, Fintech Regulation and Technology Agreement; M&A Diploma, Institutional Finance and Investment Law (PE and VC Transactions).
The 520-hour course features 30 students in each batch, featuring a basic understanding of contract agreement and structure, contract negotiation, control of emerging technologies, fintech and e-commerce law, contract structure, due diligence, and contract compliance for consolidation. And acquisition and investment transactions. Courses are only for students who sign up for them ASAP through Kerala Portal.
There are three more courses in the pipeline that are expected to be launched by the end of March as part of this collaboration – a diploma course in paralegal associateship; Diploma in Labor, Employment and Industry Law (including POSH) for HR managers; And Certificate Course on the Introduction to Legal Draft: Agreements, Petitions, Opinions and Articles.
