LSEF UMass will provide a scholarship of Rs 20 lakh to every 15 students

The LSEF-UMass Scholarship was first offered in 2018 by the Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation (LSEF) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass). This will be its 4th edition.

The Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation (LSEF) and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (UMass) have launched the 4th edition of the LSEF-UMass Scholarship 2022. This time LSEF-UMass is providing scholarships of Rs 20 lakh each to 15 students for MS (Data Analytics and Computational Social). Science), MS (Applied Economics), and a Masters in Public Policy program from Eumus Amherst, a top-tier public university in the United States.

Students in this program pursue a two-year postgraduate degree, the first year at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, the host institution in India, and the second year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, resulting in a dual degree.

Applicants must be Indian citizens who have completed (or will complete before July 2022) a minimum three-year bachelor’s (bachelor’s) degree from a recognized institution or university in India, they are eligible to apply. Applicants must study mathematics as a subject up to a minimum of 12th grade or equivalent and have a minimum of 75 percent marks in their bachelor’s degree, 12th and 10th grade (or equivalent).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a qualification assessment and personal interview with a selection committee consisting of LSEF and UMS-Amherst representatives.
