NCERT Tech signes Avant Garde to strengthen digital transformation

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) of India and Tech Avant-Garde (TAG), a global training partner of Microsoft, have signed an agreement to facilitate cooperation to enhance digital skills among education stakeholders.

The Digital India Campaign and the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 will support NCERT, Tech Avant-Garde and Microsoft to improve digital transformation and holistic learning (DTHL) in education. Digital India Campaign (2015) plans to create basic IT / ICT. Providing citizen services through infrastructure, portals, apps, etc. and digital literacy of all citizens within a specified time.

TAG will provide Microsoft course content in a format shared by NCERT under the CC-by-NC-SA license. Course certificates will be issued jointly by NCERT and Microsoft / TAG in NCERT format. The URL of L’avenir / Microsoft Learn will be added as part of the course instructions for further learning. In collaboration with CIET-NCERT, TAG will conduct customized courses for NCERT components such as National Institute of Education (NIE), New Delhi, Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), New Delhi; Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal; Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Ajmer; Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal; Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar; Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysore; And the North-East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), to name a few.
