The North Delhi Municipal Corporation has started the process of online transfer of teachers and principals to bring “more transparency” in the system and an online transfer module was launched on Monday, officials said.
Here at the Civic Center, North Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh launched an online transfer module for teachers.
The NDMC has begun the process of online transfer of teachers and principals to bring more transparency to the system, the civic body said in a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Singh said that the system would bring more transparency and teachers would not have to rush here and there to replace them. Moreover, it will reduce human interaction, he added.
Alok Sharma, Chairman, Education Committee, NDMC, said that the transfer process of teachers has been fully computerized through this online transfer module.
The applicant has to apply for their transfer through their biometric identity. This will allow teachers and principals to select a maximum of five schools according to their priorities, and the computer will automatically allocate schools on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the vacancies, he said.
