India-based global K12 EdTech PlanetSpark has announced plans to recruit 10,000+ English teachers by 2022. The company already has 2100+ teachers on the platform.

PlanetSpark raised a-13.5 million Series-B round in December 2021, led by Prime Venture Partners and entrepreneurs like Binny Bansal and Deep Kalra. With the new round of investments, the company plans to aggressively capture $ 82 billion worldwide market share. Communication skills market. The 10,000 new recruits will help the company strengthen its presence in India, the United States and the Middle East, and enter new markets, such as Europe and Southeast Asia.

By teaching online at PlanetSpark, teachers are increasing their income by 40-50 percent by spending just 5 hours a day.

To be selected as a Planetspark teacher, candidates must go through an automated selection process. Before being selected as a teacher, they have to clear PSAT (PlanetSpark Aptitude Test) and give 3 rounds of interview. After that, they were given 1 week of live online training and 143 micro-courses in PlanetSpark’s ‘Learning Management System’ to prepare their students for teaching.
