Tronheim, Norway, 29 March 2022: Signicat, Trusted Digital Identity ™ The company today announced a new appointment to the management team, accelerating Signicat’s international focus. After a year of index growth for the company, these appointments will help drive the next phase of Signicat’s global expansion.
The appointments announced are:
- Pinar joins Alpine, Signikat as Chief Product Officer
- Thesis Vink, developed in Central and Southern Europe
- Arne Vidar Hugg, Chief Global Solutions
- Atul Ranadev has been promoted to the position of Head of M&A and Strategy
Pinar Alpe joined Signicat this week as a member of the CPO and its executive management team. Prior to joining Signicat, Pinar Alpe was an SVP at WorldPay / FIS, the world’s largest payment processing company, where he was responsible for determining multiple key product family strategies and leading their execution with a significant global team. In WorldPay / FIS, Pinar has been instrumental in transforming the company’s technological architecture. As well as being an award-winning entrepreneur, he has extensive international experience. Previous roles include working at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant and at BerkeleyCard International as head of strategy and planning. Pinar will replace Roger Klausen (CPO), who has been instrumental in Signikat’s growth journey but has decided to pursue an opportunity externally. He will continue to support Signikat’s strategic projects until October.

Former General Manager of Benelux and Germany, Theis Wink, has been promoted to the main Central and Southern Europe executive team, with experience from Oracle and Global Leader and supply chain services company Ingram Micro. Thijs will play a key role in expanding Signicat’s commercial ambitions in the growing region, where over the years Signicat has acquired leading Dutch identity specialist Connectis and a Spanish-based electronic ID.

Arne Vidar Haug, co-founder and current Chief Strategy Officer, will now focus more on Global Accounts and has therefore been appointed as Chief Global Solutions. He will lead a growing team and continue to strengthen Signicat’s commercial focus on large international accounts across the market. Gunnar Nordseth, founder of Signicat, will be a future international partner and support for the Global Solutions team as well as working with technology.
Atul Ranadev has been promoted to head of M&A and Strategy where he will lead Signicat’s M&A team. He has a background in consulting firms Bain & Company and Arkright and has supported Signiket with three successful acquisitions since joining in May last year.
