TDI International School with NGO ‘Spread Smile Foundation’, Kovid raises awareness, distributes masks
To spread wellness and awareness among disadvantaged children, TDI International School has launched a social and community outreach program by organizing a visit to an NGO called Kundli-Sonipat, Spread Smile Foundation. Haryana-based NGO Sonipat is working for the betterment of disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
Keeping in mind the reality of the word “health is wealth”, TDI International School planned to distribute essential items like masks and sanitizers. Kovid was distributed in phases to avoid crowds following the guidelines. In addition, a drawing concluding ceremony was held to bring smiles to the innocent faces that witnessed Covid’s difficult times.
Harendra Kumar Sharma, principal of TDI International School in Kundli, said, “It was a small gesture towards the change of kindness that we wanted to bring to society. Our care initiatives can help these children feel cheerful and safe. We decided to give gifts in a way that would help children fight covid and stay safe. “
