The Foundation’s flagship social initiative, Nanda Ghar, aims to make an impact in the lives of 70 million children
On the occasion of Children’s Day, Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal emphasized the importance of education and the overall development of a child. In the wake of the epidemic that has unprecedentedly destroyed the learning experience of millions of children across the country, Vedanta has quickly established alternative learning methods so that no child can lose their education. Over the years, Vedanta has created many influential social development programs in India and is regarded as one of the most socially responsible corporations in the country.
Speaking of early childhood care, the Anil Agarwal Foundation under its flagship social initiative, Project Nanda Ghar in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development through WhatsApp and IVRS; Is providing e-learning materials through it. Supplemental nutrition in the form of dry take-home rations to its beneficiaries with the Telemedicine Helpline throughout the epidemic. Today, more than 2700 Nandaghars in 12 states across India are reaching out to more than one lakh children.
