The British Council provides PG scholarships to students and academics

Great Scholarships for students in subjects including law, engineering, design, science, business, humanities and more for 2022-23

The British Council, the UK’s international body for educational opportunities and cultural relations, has announced a new set of postgraduate scholarships for Indians in various fields of study for the 2022-23 academic year.

Great Scholarship

The British Council, in collaboration with the UK Government’s Great Britain Campaign and in partnership with UK universities, has announced 20 Great Scholarships for Indian students at 16 UK universities, covering business, finance, humanities, psychology, entrepreneurship, design and more. Marketing, HR, music and more. In addition, there are 7 Great Scholarships in Justice and Law for Indian students who want to apply for courses in subjects including human rights, criminal justice and commercial law.

The value of each scholarship is a minimum of £ 10,000, including tuition fees for one-year postgraduate courses. Great Scholarships offer Indian students the opportunity to pursue one of the world’s most popular postgraduate programs from the fall of 2022. The aim of the scholarships is to provide Indian students with greater access to education in the UK, by building strong ties between the two nations.

Today, the British Council has announced 6 fully funded scholarships for English teachers in India to study at the top 2 universities in the UK for postgraduate study of English language education. This opportunity is open to English teachers in primary or secondary government schools in India or working with them. Scholarships will enable students to understand the use of technology to improve learning in the classroom.

Of the 6 scholarships, 3 are being offered for the face / full-time MA program at the University of Leeds. The other 3 scholarships are for the online / part-time MSc program offered by Sterling University, which will include a two-week fully funded residential visit to the university as part of the program.
