Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naru congratulates Tokyo 2020 Paralympians at Northcap University, Gurugram
Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Nadu today congratulated the successful athletes of Haryana who have returned to the Paralympic Games at Northcap University, Gurugram. The function was presided over by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Haryana State Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs S Sandeep Singh.
Other high-ranking officials in the government. Including Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Singh Chautala; Vijay Vardhan, Chief Secretary, and Pankaj Nine, Director, Department of Sports and Youth Affairs were also present on the occasion.
Sumit Antil, gold medalist in javelin and gold medalist in shooting Manish Narwal got Rs 6 crore each for winning gold. Singh Raj Adhana has been rewarded with a rupee check. 4 crore and 2.5 crore for winning silver and bronze medals in shooting. Yogesh Kathunia has been awarded Rs. 4 crore for winning silver in discus throw. Where Harbinder Singh has been honored with a cash prize. 2.5 crore for winning bronze in archery.
